Karin Simpson

My fiancé and I recently purchased a home and Karin Simpson was the listing agent. She seemed like a nice enough person but I have really hard time recommending her. If you are buying a home and she is the listing agent just be prepared to get let down. She really over promised and didn’t do any of the things she said they would do. The home was supposed to be professionally cleaned before we closed and that clearly did not happen. There were things that she claimed were fixed but were definitely not and now we are stuck with dealing with that. They also left trash and junk behind because the garbage can was full and so that fell on us to remove it. After speaking with other people in real estate they made it very clear that the listing agent is responsible for making sure the house is in the condition that was agreed too. A big part of the problem was just poor communication on her part. I would highly recommend making sure that everything is in writing and agreed to on paper so that there is some accountability. There are tons of real estate agents out there and you shouldn’t have any trouble finding somebody that will do a better job than her.
