My husband and I found out we were pregnant and then immediately knew we needed to buy (seeing as how we could barely afford to rent the very tiny, yet expensive, 1 bedroom apartment we were already in). I so happened to come across Kate and we are so happy we did! Being first time home buyers we had about a thousand different questions and she was more then helpful in getting us all of our answers! She sat down with us to make sure she knew exactly what we needed and made sure we would find a home before our bundle of joy arrived! Not only did she accomplish that but we still have 3 months before baby is here and we already settled in our new home! She went above and beyond our standards and made our home buying experience a joy. I highly recommend her, she's efficient, more than wonderful to work with, and has the utmost professionalism! Everything went so smoothly due to her spectacular process (which included cleaning, staging, professional pictures, listing, and marketing) and we consistently had interested, potential buyers coming to see our place. We first met Kate back in the summer of 2017. We were visiting the Arvada area because we were planning on moving to Denver sometime within the next year. While we were exploring Olde Town Arvada we saw the Remax Alliance office and figured we would just stop in to see what houses were going for in the area. Kate welcomed us and listen to our plans of a future move, but we made it clear that it would be over a year before we were ready to buy. That didn’t change how Kate treated us and she was in no hurry to kick us out of the office. It was just the opposite. Kate answered all of our questions, got our information and for the next year would send us information of how the market was doing. We never felt pressured and loved the info that she was sending us. The time finally came for us to start actually looking for our home and we contacted Kate. That is when she really went to work for us. We were out of state, but Kate did all the leg work for us and made us feel like we were there with her looking for our next home. She began sending us more options to find out exactly what we wanted and when it came time to look at the ones we liked, she went to the house for us and videoed the property so we could get a first hand view. We made a trip over Spring break, to actually look at more properties. Kate was completely prepared with a solid list of homes to show us and we were determined to find our next home. At this time the housing market was extremely hot. Homes were flying off the market in a matter of days, most of them for over the asking price. Kate made us aware of the craziness of the market, but assured us that we did not need to panic. We looked at a number of homes and finally found the one of our dreams. It was a home that fell through escrow and was back on the market. We discussed our options with Kate and told her we wanted to spend one more day looking just to make sure. Of course each house we looked at didn’t compare to the one we wanted and we knew that this house was the one for us. Kate wrote up a strong offer, with all the changes we wanted and a deadline of acceptance so we would know before we had to fly back that Friday night. Kate went to battle for us. Our offer was accepted, we didn’t have to go over the asking price, and all our changes were accepted. We signed the papers and flew back with the satisfaction of buying our new dream home in Colorado. Kate never pressured us to purchase above what we said was our limit, always made us feel like we were the “most important” clients that she had, and put in the extra work that was needed with us being out of state. After moving in, Kate knew this was a big move for us and we didn’t know anyone here. She not only helped us with getting to know where to go and who to hire for help in our home, but Kate became our friend. She is a loyal and dedicated agent, but also a person I am happy to call my friend. This year I have been given the privilege of a position on Kate’s Remax Alliance team. I will be apart of administrative duties, freeing her up to devote even more time to each of her “most important” clients. We are so thankful to have found Kate and I am looking forward to helping her create more memorable experiences like ours.
