Kathleen Filzen

My husband and I worked with Kathleen during the latter part of November 2017 and eventual closed on a house on Dec. 27th, 2017. Our experience with Kathleen was lack luster and horribly dysfunctional. To begin, when we decided to place an offer on this property (now, our current home); she took a full 12 plus hours to actually initiate the offer. We should have ended the relationship there. To our unforseeable dismay, we decided to continue this relationship. Ultimately, Kathleen lied more than once and it was painstakingly evident that she was against us (the buyers) and favored the sellers. For example, Kathleen informed us that she had not heard back from the seller's agent regarding conducting a HVAC quote. For two days she reported she had not heard back from this agent. So, I emailed the seller's agent and copied Kathleen, the seller's agent emailed us back and stated that she spoke with Kathleen about our request the previous day and she gave her permission to access the property. Kathleen never apologized for her blatant lie. So, we missed this opportunity for this HVAC quote. Furthermore, the following week; we missed another HVAC quote because Kathleen refused to access the property (15mins before the HVAC rep and my husband and I were suppose to reach the property) during our allotted time. Eventually, we reported her to her supervisor and he completed the closing process. We absolutely regret dealing with Kathleen. I would not recommend Kathleen to future home buyers and/or sellers as she is not dependable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
