After visiting Palm Springs each year for nearly 10 years, we decided to make the Desert our permanent home. We both lived in Boston for 25 years, even though we didn't know each other the entire time. We both loved the urban environment, but the weather finally got to us both. If you've ever lived in New England, you know just how harsh the winters and even Spring can be. In winter the snow storms affectionately known as nor'easters pound Boston for 3 or 4 months of the year. Then in Spring, when it warms up to a balmy 50 degrees, it rains...horizontally...for another 2 or 3 months. When warm weather does finally come, it's in late June and the temperature jumps from 55 to 95 overnight. We decided enough is enough. So we bought a condo here in Palm Springs and packed ourselves up and moved to the Desert. We love it here!!! We couldn't have made a better choice. We ...
