My wife and I met Kevin in 2008 when we planned our move to Orlando. He lined up a list of houses before we arrived then set aside a Saturday to drive us around from Kissimmee to downtown Orlando area. We chose a house later that weekend and he was there every step of the way keeping in contact with us through the contract negotiations. We were Illinois residents and in 2011 decided to retire at the end of 2013 near our daughter, Jenny, in Orlando, FL. Our son-in-law, Josh, met Kevin by chance at a park. When we asked Jenny and Josh for a Realtor reference they gave us Kevin's name. We made contact and set a date to meet during our next trip in April 2012. There were numerous times along the way that the sale could have fallen through; however, thanks to Kevin, he was on top of EVERYTHING. Without his help, this sale would not have happened. I am a young, single individual that was looking to purchase my first home. I wanted to wait on getting pre-approved until I got a little into the home search process. I knew I would easily be pre-approved and was serious about buying, but being a young individual without a pre-approval, few Realtors showed serious interest in helping me get started in the process. Kevin Thorner and his cadre of professionals were instrumental in finding and securing my dream home earlier this year. When I first met Kevin I gave him the criteria for what type and what location(s) I wanted in a home, and in less than 24 hours he found it. It matched all my criteria; checked the home out and it was perfect. Kevin submitted my offer and it was between me and one other offer; unfortunately the other offer was accepted. I was upset, but thats how the game was played. Kevin showed me other houses, but they never matched up to that first house. This was my second home purchase in my life and I dreaded that this closing would turn out as my first one with hidden charges and more insurance fees and just overall more out-of-pocket costs than expected. But, it was not like that at all. Kevin walked me though each document, pointed out each they pay v. I pay cost and why and explained to me in great detail the purpose of every document I had to sign.
