- Kristin helped me buy a home
Kris was amazing to work with. After several missed opportunities, I knew it was time to leave my previous agents and work with Kris instead. To be honest, I thought she was getting a pretty good deal. I knew the exact property I wanted, albeit with slightly particular sellers. As it turns out, this ended up being the most time consuming, legally complex, and frustrating real estate transaction I have ever been involved in, all due to the sellers. Thank goodness I had someone like Kris to work with. I was ready to walk away so many times, but she took the time to keep me calm, help me keep things in perspective, and when things got particularly contentious she clearly defined when I needed to get an outside legal opinion (and provided a great referral!). She went the extra mile every step of this transaction, making up for the fact that the sellers refused to pay for an agent of their own but also chose not to do any of their own legwork. When we found the sellers being less than transparent, she stood up for my interests, despite them becoming verbally abusive during the conversation. No matter what she is faced with, Kris always has her buyer’s best interest at heart and wants to ensure she does everything possible to make sure you are happy with your purchase. And while that alone is everything I’d ever look for again in an agent, Kris kept checking up on me after we closed. She delivered an amazing and incredibly generous move-in gift basket and even arranged to meet two painting companies at my property to get bids while I was at work. She knew I was planning some remodeling and when she found out I was having some difficulty finding quality contractors, she talked to her go-to general contractor and had him call me the following business day. You may be able to buy a property working with someone else; but I know that no matter what the circumstances before, during or after the sale, Kris will be with you every step of the way to help you make a new home.

Office Manager for Oregon First Real Estate, Beaverton, Oregon,Although it is of no surprise to you, we are wanting to let you know of our complete satisfaction with Real Estate Broker Kris Sholes who represented us in the recent sale of our property on Cook Lane in Tigard. Kris consistently demonstrated the highest standards of integrity, courtesy and energy as she expertly guided us through the process of preparing, listing, negotiating and consummating a successful transaction. We were very impressed with Kris as she consistently communicated with us, discussing the various details that required attention, pointing out options and making suggestions when necessary. Her many years of experience were vividly on display as she was able to foresee and avoid the numerous potential pitfalls that too often result in a failed transaction. Kris has developed a team of experts who were available to take care of the issues that arose as the sales agreement proceeded towards completion: title insurance and escrow people; landscapers; maintenance people; and septic system specialists were all very professional. Since we reside out of the area, we had to rely upon Kris to handle many of the tasks that would have normally been the responsibility of the owners, such as collecting the mail from the street-side mailbox, scheduling maintenance, and keeping a watchful eye on the vacant house. She even spent her own time trimming hedges, sweeping the walkways and mowing the lawn!Having been a real estate broker myself years ago in California, I know what it takes to be considered a good agentand Kris has clearly shown herself to be an excellent real estate agent.Sincerely,Michael and Tina Thompson.
