  • KURT helped me buy a home

Kurt went way overboard to find me the right home for me. I was moving from Moab, Utah where I had to sell my house before I could buy a house here in Grand Junction Colorado. I wanted to buy a place with cash so that I wouldn’t have a mortgage since I had just taken early retirement and because I was paying in cash I didn’t have to worry about a lot of things that most people had to go through in order to get a mortgage. I didn’t know the town very well and I have no sense of direction and Kurt was very patient with me every time I got lost trying to meet him and look at a place. I told Kurt everything I was looking for in a home and he was very good about showing places that fit my wants. The only thing that I didn’t get and really was hoping to was a carport or garage. When I pulled up to the place that I bought I knew before I even walked into the house itself that it was the one. Once I stepped into it I told Kurt to quit looking because this was the place. My son and daughter-in-law weren’t happy about the neighborhood and tried to talk me out of it but I was already sold. It has a 5 ft privacy fence all the way around it which I loved so I didn’t have to worry about having to pay to put up a fence for my furry family. It’s funny because I had tried to look at the house a couple of weeks before but it was taken off the market the day after it was posted. When my house in Moab sold I only had six weeks to find a place and set it up to sign and pay for it the same day I signed and got paid for my old house. I called Kurt and told him that I had to find something ASAP or I was going to be homeless. This place had just come back up for sale that same day and I drove down to look at it and three or four others. When I told Kurt that I wanted it he told me that the reason it came back for sale was because the seller had turned down the previous offer due to refusing some of the changes that the previous buyer wanted. I told Kurt that I didn’t want to dicker and to put in a full price offer which they accepted and now it’s mine. I would use Kurt again if it was necessary but I will tell everyone I know that is looking for a house to call Kurt.
