Laurel Barrett

Born and raised a midwestern girl I was soon to find out that my adult life would take place elsewhere. I was smitten by a handsome southern man from right here in Georgia or was it the Airforce Uniform he was wearing. Moving to this warm Southern state was a bit challenging to a young girl of 22 but Southern charm won me over and I soon grew to love the South. Here I ended up with a nice career in the Jewelry business as a retail store manager fo the next 21 years. During this time my husband and I also managed to have two very lovely children, Chris and Stephanie. Of which, I am proud to say, were raised right here in Spalding County. All of my adult life I wanted to become a Realtor but didn't get around to it until 1999. I finally made the jump and here I am, loving every minute of it. My husbands says I work harder & more now than before, and I worked alot before, but there is something different. The difference is that I enjoy my work.
