Laurie singlehandedly got the sellers, listing agent, lender, title company , and insurance people to expedite the process and got me closed two weeks earlier than the original closing date. I only visited the property for the appraisal and the walk through. Laurie took care of the rest. After closing I have heard from Laurie three or four times. Guys - just a quick note on Laurie. I did not know her before this deal, only what a fellow investor who is a little further down the road told me - she is cool, also a lawyer and effective something like that anyhow. True to form that is what I got. Calm, sensible advice and guidance. Energy when needed, but no pushing just good judgement. Thanks to her I think we opened spot-on with our bid, stayed cool throughout the negotiation and walked away with a sweet deal (in BTW and as you know a quite competitive market). But there is more. Laurie is a great resource on the broader things that youll need if you walk this path, like attorneys, accountants, property managers, insurance guys, contractors the whole team. If you are lucky enough to be focussed around the Fort Lauderdale area and need the A-team you need Laurie on your side.
