There are many, many choices available to us when it comes to picking a realtor, yet it can be a challenge to find the right one when buying and/or selling a house. I had met with four from well-known realty companies, and all were certainly pleasant. It was Lina Lopes from the Douglas Elliman organization who differentiated herself from the others, and who I felt was going to be the absolute best fit to work with for my real estate needs. First, she came highly recommended by two of my best friends, each one having a very positive experience in working with her and her support team; second, when I met Lina personally to talk about my situation (selling one home and buying another), she carried herself very professionally and didnt make a big deal out of the fact that she is consistently a highly recognized realtor for her results within the Elliman organization instead, she made the conversation all about me and then took the time to explain how her team works and how they would help. From the time of our first meeting through the end of both transactions (approximately seven months), she was truly my teammate and always gave me sound advice when I asked her for it, which I did a lot. Lina was consistent in everything she did; she was very responsive and worked very well with the buyers of my house as well as the seller of the house I bought. She has vast knowledge of the real estate profession and has seen just about every scenario one can imagine (when there were a few out of the ordinary ones that came up, she had been down that road before with each and was able to draw from her experience to address and overcome them head on).
