  • Lorna and I connected, but did no business

AVOID DEALING WITH HER AT ALL COST. Especially, if you see her name representing the buyer , DROP THE CONTRACT-look for another buyer if possible. We've recently sold a house, and she happened to be the buyer's representing agent. Long story short, our diabolic nightmare is post closing. The house was still being rented out and the new owners would inherit the leasing contract. We closed on a Monday, but Fidelity National Title DID NOT have our money by the end of the day. We finally got the money that Wednesday afternoon. We dropped off the appropriate checks to our seller's office and hoped the nightmare was over. Since we received the lump sum on Wednesday, it is appropriate to take the lease for those additional 2 days even though we closed on Monday; we could've closed on a later day when the title company had all the wires ready to go but we didn't have a choice. The next morning she texted us demanding 3 days of rent and this was the kicker, "this has been the most penny pinching contracts I have ever worked on, Marie (my agent) and I have given up our wages that feed our families and keep a roof over their head to help close your deal." This was followed by a shouting match to where she just hung up on the phone on us. The agents did give us a $5k credit, Lorna giving only about $2k . Wow and 6% of the sale was around $22k. She may be good at doing her work and be a top producing agent, but I don't think she's very professional. She's lucky my dad did not have a stroke or heart attack that morning for harassing us. I will definitely tell me friends and family to avoid her and Keller Williams Realty at all cost.
