Hello! Originally from Connecticut, I relocated- or as they say "I wasn't born in Texas but, I got here as quick as I could", to Houston in 1991. I came for a teaching position which then turned into a 17 year career with Houston ISD. During those years, I purchased my first home in the Heights and there began my love of the Heights and of purchasing homes. Luckily, my career job also afforded me the opportunity and the time to develop a love and a talent for buying, remodeling and selling homes for myself as an addition to my income. Towards the end of my career with the district, I also tried my hand with commercial real estate and opened a restaurant. Annabelle's Diner in Midtown specialized in seafood, steaks, and pasta dishes.
