Home buyer BEWARE of this realtor! She is unethical and unprofessional. I was a first time home buyer and made a biggest mistake hiring her as my agent. She knew I was a first time home buyer and don't know much about buying a home so she started her plotting. First she want me to sign an exclusive agreement for her to be my agent. Then she started her plot and lying to me that I MUST paid 3% earnest deposit of $15000 a big chuck of money which I later found out that I actually could just pay any amount I want and it's not a MUST to pay 3%. During the selling process, the house was occupied by a tenant and one of the window was broken that was stated in the tenant agreement but the seller lied and provide FAKE info that the window wasn't broken and then when I asked, he refused to fix the window. So, when I decided I didn't want to buy the house with a lying seller and the house had so many problems that the seller refused to fix but Marianne kept putting fear on me over and over again that the seller won't give me back my earnest deposit if I don't buy the house. What? The seller lied on the seller disclosure and I cannot cancel the contract?? Later, I realized that's why she lied that I must paid a big amount of earnest deposit so she can later put the pressure and fear on me that I won't get back my deposit if I don't buy the house. Also, the home inspector that she recommend was not what she told me. She told me the home inspector has many years of working experience but when I called and found out the inspector actually was a newbie and only had 1 year of experience. Along the whole process, it happened numerous occasion that it's all about putting fear and lying. HOME BUYER -buying a home is the most significant financial decisions you'll make in your lifetime so don't make the same mistake I made ended up with a bad condition home. Beware of this agent!!!
