Her professionalism, compassion to my situation and overall expertise in her industry was simply off the charts outstanding ... Having her own personal family issue come up in the middle of the sale, she worked diligently even while away ... all without missing a single beat ... I couldn't recommend Marilyn Cannon Burke any higher or to enough people I know ... She and the Keller Williams team were a godsend to myself in a very difficult time ... When considering a listing or your own, please allow me to say that you will not have to look any further than Marilyn, nor will you be disappointed in the least ...Description of work:This my 5th home sale in my life and one under the worst circumstances of my wife's passing ... This, like many home sales, wasn't without its issues ... having set the opening market price, I received approximately 52 visits just in the first open house listing alone ... upon receiving the potential buyer information compiled, I was able to set a very competitive asking price based upon the feedback and get the home sold immediately there after ... Upon receiving an offer at the total listing price, it was discovered that the home had had some previous termite damage ... Undeterred my realtor both kept the buyer completely level headed, set my own mind at ease and sprang into action securing me both a contractor and exterminator to complete the sale all in record time...

Marilyn was the realtor who sold my house. because of her expert and artistic staging, which not all or many realtors can or do perform, the house sold at a price well beyond my expectations. She also repeatedly "held my hand" to overcome all of my anxieties, was always responsive to my queries, stepped in to handle interactions with the buyer and his lawyer, and recommended an excellent real estate attorney to handle the paperwork and legal questions. Marilyn also has a network of professionals to call upon, e.g., for handiwork, and speedily found service companies (e.g., plumbing and HVAC) if additionally needed. She was in complete charge of the sales process, freeing me up to focus on finding a new home.Very smoothly, from start (preparing to list and show the house) to finish (inspections leading to P&S and closing agreements, and negotiations for furniture to be left for buyer and thus not moved).

Marilyn was fantastic! For the sale, she painstakingly researched comps, and set the home so it looked fabulous. She has people for referral for anything the house may need. She ably guided us through the process, and we got above asking price for the house within a week after it was placed on the market She provided the same excellent care as our purchasing agent, researching the neighborhoods and comps, pointing out pluses and minuses of homes beyond what we could see, and stringy negotiating with sellers agents. We got the house that was perfect for us! Marilyn is personable, always available, and an excellent guide through the difficult process of both buying and selling. My brother and I were the deemed the executors of my mother's estate after her sudden passing. It was a very difficult time for us and the process of selling a house was new to us beside being a very emotional one involving emptying out her house filled with her belongings and many precious memories. Not only was Marilyn professional, courteous and knowledgeable, she was also extremely empathetic, understanding and, most especially, patient with us as we learned the terrain of being a seller. Marilyn's expert knowledge and experience helped steer us clear of potential pitfalls; she could spot red flags we may not have, she had contacts in all areas of the industry (from buyer agent community to mortgage lenders and from movers to construction & cleaning crews). She always had our best interests in mind and made us feel like her only client when I'm sure was juggling many. We could not have done it all without her and highly recommend her.

To say that Marilyn is good at what she does is an understatement. She is not only professional, but she is diligent, passionate, and willing to go the extra mile. My husband and I bought our first home and had multiple hurdles we had to jump through before we were able to close on our house.
