Marion Zygadlo

Marion Zygadlo was born in 1952 in Warsaw, Poland, where he received his elementary and high school education. With outside help and considerable effort, he came to the United States in the summer of 1972. With strong interest in art and architecture, growing up in a Communist country, he never had the opportunity for formal training until he came to America. He enrolled in The University of Texas at Arlington in 1973 and studied architecture there for five years. Since 1975, he worked in architectural firms throughout the Metroplex focusing his interest on design, construction and techniques of solar and earth sheltered structures. Since 1982, Marion operated a design office in Fort Worth, Texas, and drafted approximately forty solar and earth sheltered structures. In the mid 1980’s, Marion joined a conventional real estate company, where he spent seven years gaining valuable experience working with buyers and sellers.
