Marvin Marquez was truly amazing helping me through the process of buying my first home in Joshua Tree. I first engaged him with an inquiry about a couple of properties. His knowledge of the area (he's a local) and specific desert area regulations helped steer me away from potential pitfalls and into a house that fit my needs. He listened to what I was looking for and advised accordingly. The process is long and, for me, had many confusing points, but Marvin talked me through each and every one of them, giving me options, clearly explaining each situation. He had a good feel when to push for things and when to back off. I really appreciated this. He would explain to me why we should ask for something or why we may not want to. He was never pushy, always letting me make the decision. He worked to get a decent concession from the seller for closing costs and to get a final offer lower than the asking price (obviously, every situation is different). If you're looking for a home in the Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms area, Marvin is your guy.

We found a great lot and Marvin gave input and resources on confirming build ability, connected us to the escrow team, and made sure the process ran smoothly.
