Great ServiceWe met Mary Kay in late August, 2013. From the get-go, we liked her, because she was very informative, pleasant, and we felt a connection to her as a professional with integrity. That is, after learning about the 1-year fiasco we had with a previous realtor, she never engaged in any bad mouthing of the other agent. Instead, she focused on gathering new listings for us based on our needs in a timely manner. Scheduling for us was not easy due to our limited availability and distance from the sites. Yet, everything went smoothly, thanks to her flexibility, organizational skills, and ingenuity in making it all worked out. We also appreciate Mary Kay for her knowledge in all aspects of owning a house. She always answered our questions honestly, promptly and thoroughly. When something is hard to understand; she provides excel worksheets, bulleted lists, or comparison statements.She never pressured us to buy. When we landed a potential purchase, she immediately went to bat for us. After many negotiation cycles, she advised that we wait for the price to drop while we continue to search elsewhere. Our patience paid off within a month, and we closed just before Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas present that was! But the great service did not end there. After closing, we needed repairmen and property management to prepare the house for rent. Within a month, all repairs were made, and the house was leased to a fine couple. This could not have happened without Mary Kay, who is well-connected in the market. We feel she really looked out for our best interest. Her advice guided us the whole way through this crazy process with such care and professionalism; we highly recommend her to anyone looking for an incredible agent.

Effective Marketing PlanHow lucky we were to have Mary Kay referred to us. We were attempting to do the impossible. We needed to sell our condo that was under repair construction for developer defects and lenders were not interested. She had made an effective marketing plan and contacted lenders for help with a "portfolio loan", a special loan used in circumstances like this. We knew once the construction was complete our condo would be good as new but it was still a "tough sell" with the exterior work being done. Her professionalism, great communication, and follow through were amazing. Our unit sold and we are so happy with our entire process from start to finish.

She helped us sell our home in Bellingham and we had an offer within 2 weeks of it being on the market. She is professional, efficient and when she says she is going to do something; she does it. Above and BeyondMary Kay has been very responsive from the beginning to the end and even after the purchase. No matter what time of the day or the week. I even remember getting emails on a public holiday. She recommended a number of property inspectors and did a lot of homework on finding out the details of the HOA insurance policy of the condo we finally purchased. We were about to pull back our offer because of not being able to get earthquake insurance for the condo. If it was not for her persistence in finding the right insurer, we might not have gone ahead. Her communication was very efficient and to the point and she was pleasant to deal with.
