We were soon to close on the sale of our home in Virginia, and looking to find our perfect retirement property in the Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale area. Having purchased many properties over the years, we were extremely pleased with MaryEllen's extensive knowledge of the area and professionalism. She was always available and seemed only concerned with finding us the right place at the right price - not easy given our desire to be within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. She is a skilled negotiator, and her easy-going and gracious manner was a blessing during the bidding and closing processes. She even arranged to have a reasonable and lovely short-term rental for us while searching for a property - which was unexpected and very welcome. From start to finish she listed our house on a Wednesday, showed it once on that Friday, did an open house on Saturday, and then by Sunday we had 6 offers for full price on our home and we were sold! There were challenges with our sale because of the relocation aspect of it, but she is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and I just know that it would not have gone as smooth as it did- even though there were several hiccups (on the other end)!
