Matt Myatt

Had a great experience with Matt Myatt. My place sat on the market for a year and a half with a REALTOR I had trusted. Finally decided something could be done better. Called Matt just because I had received a post card that sounded good. Within a week of my call week agreed on a strategy, he and a team member did some staging (make it look more saleable), took pictures that were awesome (with aerials, of course), got the listing up, and networked it to some sales support sites. He kept me apprised at every step (knew every time it was shown and the outcome of the showing). Even went so far as to drive by the day after Hurricane Matthew and email me pictures they took of the damage. Then made solicitations for a couple of bids for repairs, again keeping me in the loop at every step. Within 10 weeks we got a great offer and easy settlement. Would recommend him very highly to anyone wanting to do a Real Estate transaction on OBX.

Initially, when my husband and I were looking at properties in OBX, Matt was the realtor on one of the properties we liked. We contacted him for additional information on the property and began conversations around what we were looking for. Matt was extremely responsive from the outset. He not only listened as we detailed what we were looking for but also heard what we were saying so that he was able to present us with several homes that fit the bill. The property we made an offer on was a short sale and Matt was very knowledgeable about the process. More importantly, he was upfront from the outset as to what the process entailed, what we could expect, how long it could take, etc. He made himself readily available whenever we had even the smallest of questions. He also assisted us with anything we needed help with - attorney, title work, home inspection...you name it and Matt was able to help! My husband and I were unavailable during the last 2 weeks leading up to closing, and Matt pretty much took the reins and got us across the finish line. Luck was on our side when he responded to our initial e-mail requesting additional information on a property! I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking at real estate in OBX!!!

Matt was recommended to us as an expert in Short Sales in the Currituck County area. We had received post-cards from him for quite a while, but we were not ready to move. We wish that we had worked with Matt sooner. Matt was extremely professional throughout the process, and was very knowledgeable about the area, and the short-sale process. Matt has the best Newsletter that he consistently sends me. I saw a property I liked...I called him and he immediately went to work and we closed the deal within 30 days. No questions...No Problems...just Stellar Results...by the way...I'm a Real Estate Broker in Virginia and I know the drill well...Matt nailed it. There is no need to call anyone else at the beach other than Matt. Trust me

Matt was a great Agent. He was exceptional with communication and an expert in Short Sales. Wouldn't have wanted anyone else seeing us through a difficult time. He was the best and don't think anyone else could have got the job done. He was always right on top of everything and made dealing with the Banks much easier.

My husband and I both enjoyed working with Matt. I think he's the only guy out there persistent as us when it came to purchasing our first home! I guess you can tell we were really happy with his services!

Working with Matt was a wonderful experience. After years of dreaming about owning a beach house Matt helped those dreams become a reality. During an initial conversation Matt asked several questions about what we were looking for in a home. He used that information to select several properties he thought we should see. We had several conversations about the houses and met with him the following weekend. He took us to see several properties and we ended up writing a contract, and purchasing, the first one Matt had suggested. We now consider Matt a friend and would highly recommend him to any potential buyer.

We were very pleased with our experience with Matt. I had originally contacted him via email and we continued to correspond via email for a few months before we actually traveled to the OBX to view properties. He was always very prompt and complete in his responses and was very knowledgeable of the area. He was invaluable to us during the closing process assuring we had all the proper inspections taken care of and personally went to check on the house after the hurricane. Post-closing, Matt has continued to be a valuable resource which has been great for us since we are new to the area and don't know anyone else in the OBX.
