- Megan listed and sold my home
It is my absolutely pleasure to write a review for Megan: she was absolutely amazing and anyone would be lucky to have her as their realtor. Though we are first time home-buyers and relatively new to Seattle (moved here in summer 2016) we thought we were well prepared for the home buying process: we had decided on the neighbourhood we wanted, been pre-approved and were planning to be well under budget, and we had watched enough HGTV to smugly believe we knew exactly what we wanted and agreed on everything. Well, it turns out we had a lot to learn! Turns out that we were not very happy when we saw the houses we could afford in our preferred neighbourhood and my husband and I disagree on lots from location to lay-out. In came Megan who was a consummate professional every step of the way. She was always educational, never pushy. She introduced us to neighbourhoods we hadn’t considered which ended up being perfect for us, pre-inspected all our homes (for nitpicky things like basement ceiling height) and listened intently to what we did and did not like to refine our search. She was also incredibly quick, a must in this market: I don’t know when Megan sleeps but she seemed to be available 24/7, responding to each and every question and request right away and working with our schedule to tour houses asap. When we decided to put in an offer, we liked the house so much that we had intended to bid more: it was Megan who talked us down a little: she highlighting her extensive research on comps and together we came up with an escalation plan that ended up saving us quite a bit of money. She also worked late into the night when negotiations dragged on and then stayed in touch throughout the closing process. I’ll end on this note: I know picking the right realtor is tough and involves a lot of trust. For what it’s worth, Megan has us as a client for life. When it comes time to upgrade in 5-10 years, she will be the one we call. She made a very stressful process as easy as it could possibly be.

[ link omitted ]:Megan was so easy to work with and always super responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed working with her and her team in both buying and selling our houses.
- K. Culver[ link omitted ]:I can't say enough good things about Megan! This was our second time purchasing a home but our first experience in the Seattle area. We met Megan through a mutual acquaintance and hit it off at our initial meeting. My first impression of Megan was that she was very thorough and detail oriented and I was not wrong. She wrote down everything we told her about our house wants, needs, dislikes, etc. She took all of these things into consideration when showing us houses. She honestly shared her expertise and experiences in order to help us make informed decisions. I am positive that the reason our bid was accepted over others was due to Megan's negotiation skills. Megan and her team kept in close contact throughout the entire closing process and she was always available to answer questions and help alleviate any worries or concerns. She even helped us find a landscaper to take care of our overgrown lawn. In my opinion, you shouldn't consider anyone else to help you buy or sell your home
- M. Hodge[ link omitted ]: She is such a fantastic being! Her knowledge of the local area saved us from putting a bid that was too high for a house in the area. She would promptly answer a text or email whenever we had any questions or concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend her to any friends or family. We will be going through her for our next home purchase. Thanks Megan!
- A. Carpenter[ link omitted ]:There are certain professionals in your life that are hard to come by: A good doctor, lawyer, or accountant who is not only an expert but someone whom you can truly trust. We learned the same is true for a realtor, especially in this hectic Seattle market: you need someone who not only understands the city and its various neighborhoods but who is available to you 24/7 to answer questions, weigh decisions, and help you move quickly. Megan was perfect in every regard and we intend to be her clients for life!PRO: As first time homeowners, we interviewed several realtors before beginning this process and were immediately impressed by Megan. She met us at a time/location that was convenient to us and took the time to walk us through what to expect from the entire process. She also asked us far more questions about our preferences and what we were looking for than anyone else. Once we got started- and realized that inevitably our preferences were changing, Megan responded to all our ideas/requests with enthusiasm and creativity. She introduced us to neighborhoods that we would not have considered but turned out to be the perfect fit, was always prepared for every house we wanted to check out (usually doing pre-inspections first, for example measuring the basement ceiling to see if it was tall enough for my husband) and was never pushy. When we decided to bid, she stayed in touch throughout the day to inform us and the sellers of updates including late at night as we were weighing a higher bid. I truly believe that we got this house because of Megan's pro-activity and professionalism. She continued to be there for us during the month of closing, checking in frequently with us and our bank. It turns out we hated the stressful process of house-hunting and would have never gotten through it without Megan. CON: I'm writing a con only because I never trust ads that don't have any, so here we go. Megan prioritizes giving you information but is never pushy. As first time homeowners, we sometimes wanted her to just give us the answer (e.g. "would you buy this place") and while she was reluctant she would always answer honestly (i.e. "yes, but..." or "no and here's why...but remember I'm in a very different position from you"). Is having to push for an opinion, as opposed to information, a con? not really, but I suppose if I had to mention one thing, that would be it. I am writing this sitting on the couch of our new home and couldn't be happier. When the time comes for our family to upgrade in 5-10 years, I know we'll be going with Megan. She's awesome!
