Our overall experience with Melanie was outstanding. We were searching for a new home for months and finally found the perfect house. The kids didn't want to leave after the first showing. The only issue is that we had to sell the home we were in. Melanie made it happen in less than two weeks. Her professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail were top notch. Melanie Cooley went above and beyond as a realtor for us this past year.Within a one period we were able to have our house up on the market, find our dream home, and have our first offer accepted. She staged some of the most professional looking room photographs. She did everything with such elegance as every move was thought through. She was willing to give up hours on the weekend to show us houses in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. She was knowledgeable about the houses we were looking at and followed up each time with any questions we had throughout the showing. She helped us decipher between pros and cons in each home. She had the perfect amount of involvement, also always giving us our space and privacy. Her online notifications of up-to-date market information helped us find a place to start. The house we were most interested in posted a few concerns. She made it possible for us to visit the house time and time again to make sure we were sure. She returned answers to our texts late at night. Melanie even took up the offer to come speak to my Independent Living class as a realtor in the wee hours of a weekday morning at High School during a unit I was teaching on the House Buying process. She was willing to swing by our house at the drop of a hat if we needed to sign anything, never making it a requirement to drive ourselves or pack up our one year old son to her office. She was patient and kind with our son. She quickly became more than a realtor, but moreso a friend. She made the entire process for us a cake walk, always having everything prepared and laid out. She was able to explain legal documents in a way we could easily understand. We are excited to welcome her into our new home months after settlement to show the before and after work that has been done by us to our new home. We know she will truly appreciate all the renovations, as she was the only one to have really gotten to see how far we have come from the beginning. Melanie Cooley comes highly recommended from us.
