Yelp reviews are not perfect but I will tell you that I have had 3 experiences with Mel and he far exceeded our expectations. I first met him through a mutual referral in 2013 when my wife and I wanted to buy our first house. He met us at our home in the evening, put up with a whinning toddler and an obtrusive dog. He listened to what we desired, narrowed down properties, and started the process. He was patient, actually showed us homes that were well within our specs, and walked us through every step. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure to do business with him.Fast forward three years, we had a growing family and decided it was time to start looking. I met with Mel when my wife found her dream house. He didn't pull any punches, and told us it was a long shot to get it...but he promised that he would work tirelessly to pursue it. AND THAT HE DID! 6 months later we got news that the long shot paid off and we got the short sale. In the next 90 days, he was kind enough to shield us from the banter and demands of the bank, ultimately leading us to have a very pleasurable process. He used his profound experience and connections to make sure EVERYTHING was taken care of. Bottom line: You may just be a fool if you chance your home buying experience to anyone else.

This man is a living legend! I can not express my gratitude to Mel for his hard work and dedication to his clients, Day or night you could drop him a call, text or e-mail and he would go out of his way to get back to you with a response answering your questions or concerns. Mel is extremely knowledgeable on houses and codes. There were several homes Mel and I viewed together, he was always prompt. Sometimes he would be at a house viewing early just to watch the neighborhood and give opinions on the kind of foot traffic, vehicle traffic and lifestyle that seems to be involved. He would point out minor issues like dry rot, peeling paint and etc as well as major issues that could have easily been overlooked. There was a house we looked at during our house hunting experience, my husband and I were fairly confident we could make it into contract. When we didn't and we began to get discouraged Mel was there to push us forward and show us there were other options, we just had to really look for and know exactly what we were willing to accept as a home vs. things we would like for a home. Mel managed to get us the best of both worlds for our meager budget and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Mel.If you are buying a home a good realtor is literally your best asset and this guy is the absolute BEST! As first-time home buyers, my wife and I were nervous about making every mistake and winding up in a shack in some back alley; however, a friend recommended Mel. We weren't sure what to expect. The first house he showed us he instead of closing a quick deal and telling us how amazing the first house was, he pointed out concerns he had about it that may have affected our purchase.
