Merrill was a pleasure to work with, very professional, and extremely trustworthy. We had to work with him remotely so he shot videos of the homes for us, and gave good recommendations on what places he thought matched what we were looking for and what didn't. When we did travel to AZ, he spent entire days with us to see multiple places and always gave an honest opinion. I would definitely recommend him and we will be working with him more in the future.

Merrill is an amazing realtor. After dealing with two other realtors that refused to meet and would not take us as serious buyers, pushing houses off on us that would not meet the conditions my wife and I set. Like housing communities that didn't allow kids we have 3. My wife found an advertisement online for Merrill's company the claim was we are aggressive. That sounded exactly like something we needed. After my wife contacted the company I heard from Merrill the same day. Now after being told countless times by our first 2 realtors, that what we were looking for in a house in our price range was ludicrous. When we talked to Merrill and gave him the specs we were looking for without hesitation he found a number of houses that fit and scheduled an appointment to view them. Merrill is to realtors as the fictional character House is to doctors. Merrill does not want to push a house on to you he wants to help you find the house you will love. He works hard to answer all questions that you would have and he is incredibly prompt at returning your phone calls. I did all the house hunting as my wife and kids were a couple states away and when the saw our house for the first time was just magical. So i recommend Merrill as anyone's realtor in the Phoenix area because even though magic is made up the hard work that Merrill puts in and all the things he accomplishes make you wonder if he doesn't have a little pouch of pixy dust.Thank you Merrill The Walker family

Even though I had a small amount of resources (aka: money), he found the perfect home for me! Some realtors seem to be all about the commission, but not Merrill. When I decided to sell earlier this year (2014) I asked him to help me again. My house was only on the market 13 days before we had an offer, which did in fact, turn into the sell of my lifetime! When selling, he was very responsive, always let me know when there was a showing, gave me weekly feedback both in person and by email (including colored graphs regarding the traffic my home was getting and other information) and answered my calls, and there were many, whenever I needed him. He offers a scaled commission and an easy-out clause if you change your mind. It made the stress of selling my home easier, and in the end, all worth it. I can recommend him without reservation!

In my experience, Merrill has been outstanding. He is extremely prompt and quick to respond to showing requests and preparing offers. He has excellent communication skills, and is very knowledgeable about real estate.

We moved to Arizona from Colorado and Merrill was amazing in helping us find a home. He would video tape houses for us and email them since we were out of state. Merrill went above and beyond to help me secure the condo unit I wanted for my home. There was a lot of competition for this unit and my funds weren't in place yet but he was able to help me persuade the seller to hold the unit for me with some very well written letters. We went to look at houses in January with Merrill, within 2 weeks we were in contract as he found a lender to help us with our unique situation. Merrill stayed in contact with us, the lender, the other realtor and the title company to make sure everything ran smoothly and kept moving foward. As Canadian buyers, we were unable to immediately view the property so Merrill did a video walk-through to give us a better feel for the place. From the moment I was on zillow looking at property and emailed saying I needed information about a property (on a Sunday), Merrill and his team responded immediately and were always available to answer any questions or help with any needs we had. We were first time homebuyers and originally we were working with another realtor, who helped us find our house that we are currently renting. After months of no personal contact from our realtor, not even an e-mail besides the MLS e-mails, we found out that our realtor's company went out of business and she did not let us know! Disappointed and unsure of trusting just any realtor, we decided to keep searching for homes and happened to see a home on Zillow that we were interested in. Out of the other realtors listed, Merrill had great reviews and looked like a friendly person and therefore we were led to inquire about a house from Merrill. From then on he was so proactive and helpful. Merrill quickly responded to our initial inquiry and without putting pressure on us, assured us that any time we found a property that we were interested in he could set us up with a viewing, he also created an MLS account for us. We appreciated that he was willing to work with us, given that we had a limited budget. He treated us very well and always accommodated us whenever we asked about viewing certain properties. His assistant Lindsey would occasionally meet us, if Merrill wasn't available, because he wanted to make sure that we got to see properties ASAP, since this is a sellers market and homes would go under contract as soon as the same day it listed. We really appreciated that. Also, because we have only recently moved to Arizona (less than 2 years ago) we asked that when we added certain homes to our "favorites" that if any were in unsafe neighborhoods to let us know, and that's what he did. We enjoyed working with him and he always kept us in the loop, whether it be by e-mail, phone or text. He did well at negotiating and kept our best interests in mind. Although our first offer didn't go through, not Merrill's fault but the seller accepted another offer without letting us bid, Merrill made sure that he would find us a place, and sure enough we found a home that was even better than the first. We felt comfortable working with Merrill and believe that he is an honest, hardworking, non-pressuring realtor who will do his best to get people into the home they desire. Merrill did such an amazing job helping me prepare my home for sale than sell it. To start with my situation wasn't a normal listing. I had a tenant to evict before I could list my home and I am living in Florida never once did I have to fly to Arizona he took care of everything. He was so helpful and patient with the 3 month process evicting. He watched the home took video and pictures. He received the keys to my home on a Friday took care of all the cleaning and repair work needed to be done. The fallowing Friday he listed it that Sunday I had an offer over my listed price! We were 3 hours difference he always answered my phone calls or emails. If not never took longer than 30min to call or reply back. No matter what time of the day or day. Merrill was referred when I was using AZpropertysearch web site. Have selected 31 houses prior to our trip to Phoenix. We only have one week there. The 1st day we met, he brought us to check 12 houses we picked and gave us good information about the neighborhood. We can eliminate certain areas right away. Later, my wife and I reviewed the houses again and I picked few more at night and dropped a note to him.He cannot make it, but he allows us to meet with his wife and found out what we like on the second day. Later, we went back to that house again and did some measurements. To us, he had provided us all kind of informations we need. Right now, we are in the process of getting the house. They are super friendly and helpful. will recomment others to try.. Just don't get the house we like.

Jim along with his brother Joe walked us through the whole process of first buying a new home and then marketing and selling our old one. To add to the mix we had less than 30 days to do both and they came through with flying colors. I have recommended and will continue to recommend them both for either buying or selling.

Merrill and Kristi are the absolute best. I'm going to explain why I say that, but first some history of my purchase: As a buyer I had originally been representing myself due to my distrust of realtors. I felt that the majority of realtors just want to get you on a representation contract and spam you with listings but do no real work for you. I felt that no one would work harder for me, than me.During that time of self-representation, I first met and talked with the Jencks about a property where they were representing the sellers. I talked with Merrill about some of the things I wanted in a home and he gave me excellent, detailed advice. It became clear to me right away that they were decent honest people, legitimately interested in helping my family find what we need, so I asked them to help me continue my search and represent me as a buyer.I found a property listed on Zillow that looked perfect for my family. Kristi had me in the house to see it within a couple hours of my inquiry, and a couple hours later she submitted my offer that same day. Throughout the negotiation process Merrill provided strong representation of my interests. When deadlines were approaching or there we any questions or matters to resolve, I feel like he handled it as though it was his own house he was trying to buy. His own questions that needed answering. I was truly impressed. He covered everything in detail, and answered all my technical questions about the contract process in as much detail as I wanted (I wanted a lot of detail...)The entire purchase was complete from first showing to close of escrow in 1 month. *One Month*. Everyone except the Jencks said it couldn't be done. The house was vacant, the seller and I had agreed on all terms and they promptly fixed everything I requested, so why not? I wanted this quick timeframe and the Jencks pushed my lender, the seller's agent, the title company, everyone to make it happen for me. It was awesome.I sit in my new (first) home writing this review right now. I am very thankful, and in no uncertain terms you can not do better than Merrill and Kristi. You will see!
