Originally from Maryland, Mike learned the value of hard work at an early age while working alongside his family in their businesses. Those experiences gave him a firsthand understanding of what it takes to run a business—learning the importance of serving people well, managing resources wisely, and staying committed when challenges arise. More importantly, he learned that success comes from hard work, persistence, and a commitment to doing things the right way—there are no shortcuts. In 1994 Mike attended the University of Utah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a certificate in Real Estate Finance. While in college, he was recruited into commercial appraisal, an experience that gave him a deeper understanding into property values, market trends, and what truly drives real estate decisions. I worked with Dustin on Michael's team after an initial meeting with Dustin and Michael. Both have an extensive knowledge of the SLC area and knew what neighborhoods would suit my needs. As someone who was in town only one day to look at the homes I wanted to see and neighborhoods they did an excellent job working together to make it happen. I was able to continue my search using multiple forms of technology to include looking at homes via Skype, Dustin went out of his way in this busy real estate market to ensure I have the information needed even though I was 2200 miles away. Overall great experience and the technology the entire team utilized worked well. Highly recommend.

I've been planning on writing a glowing review for this place for a quite a while. Mike Egan, the realtor who assisted me and my husband and my mom in finding what we needed in a home, was amazing. He is exactly what you need in a realtor. Super patient, really down-to-earth, and always responsive. And best of all, he points out what is best for you. He will point out all of the problems in a potential home so that you know what you're getting into. He will not sugarcoat something to make a sale - he wants you to be happy, and he is very realistic about expectations. I have dealt with other realtors who made me feel as though the other party was their actual client - that is not a good feeling. Mike Egan and the One Group Utah are by far the best I have dealt with so far, and everyone should use them.
