Michelle Valdez

Michelle Valdez grew up on the Western Slope, attending college at Fort Lewis College and then graduating from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration-Finance. After graduation, Michelle worked as Investment Specialist with Charles Schwab, where she obtained her Series 7 license. She continued to work in Financial Services until the market began to decline. Michelle put her knowledge and skills to work in the Mortgage Industry working for Lenders and Brokers as a Loan Officer, Underwriter and as a Loan Processor. She also had her own business as a Contract Processor for Loan Officers in the Denver area. Michelle took a 2 year hiatus to stay at home with her 3 young children.
