As executer of my Aunt's estate, I needed to find a realtor in the Corbin Palms area of Woodland Hills, Ca. I'm from Oregon. That person needed to be honest, from the neighborhood, and understanding of my particular set of circumstances. When I contacted Monique, it was from a flier she had distributed in my Aunt's neighborhood. She had already sent the estate attorney a packet researching my Aunts house, she had heard the house would be sold while she was walking the area speaking with Corbin Palms residents. I met Monique Bryher about a year ago when I decided to look for horse property to buy in the Melody Acres area of Tarzana. We spent almost an hour on the phone discussing my needs and areas I would consider. She informed me of the current market and why Melody Acres would more than likely be out of my price range, and encouraged me to look into other areas that allowed horses. I started looking in Shadow Hills, Sunland-Tujunga, Chatsworth, etc. and after several months came to the conclusion that these properties were overpriced or not up to my standards. I wanted a 1920's-1960's period home that had not been substantially "upgraded", in a good neighborhood and close to my job. I worked with Monique for nearly a year, when other agents would have given up on me long before. Monique hung in there by my side, advising, encouraging and at times giving me reality checks so I knew realistically what I could afford and get for my money, and what I was willing to relinquish in order to get my ideal home. Monique was tenacious when it came to searching out information on properties that I was interested in, getting me into properties, accompanying me to broker's and open houses, and in dealing with realtors and others involved in these transactions. When we finally did go into escrow on a house in Van Nuys she was there with me every step of the way, with highly skilled professional inspectors, a wonderful mortgage agent, and with her vast knowledge and professional expertise in the field. When I decided to cancel the escrow after not being able to come to terms on work needing to be done when inspections found multiple problems, she was there for me again to handle this potentially problematic situation with the other parties involved. Monique encouraged me to "go out one last time" before making this decision, and I did, finding my dream home in the process. I would have never been the proud new owner of a superb untouched Mid Century architectural home had it not been for Monique's guiding hand and innate knowledge of the process of locating, bidding on, inspecting, reviewing, signing and closing on a property. She is one of a kind and went above and beyond my expectations of what a realtor does and is. I consider her an exceptional, honest, forthright and caring agent and I'm grateful that she stayed in there with me for the entire time it took to find me a home. I would recommend her services without hesitation and am so glad that I found her to represent me when I decided to buy a home.

ts very hard to find someone truly honest specially when they are representing other side of transaction , she was not representing us but she helped all to avoid wasting time for seller as well as buyer .We had very smooth transaction with her . Monique Bryher is a very professional realtor, that dealt with more than a couple different difficult situations while selling my mothers house for me. There were 2 different buyers that were not performing in a timely manner, when starting the Escrow process. she dealt with their realtors and found that they were not going to complete the deal on purchasing the house. She was very good at keeping me in the loop of what was happening the whole time we worked together. Monique was very thoughtful of the renters that were in the house during the listing and worked with them when there was open house showings and private showings. After interviewing several agents, we went with Monique because she is capable, caring and knows (as well as lives in) the neighborhood where our home was located. She is local and respected the unique character of the neighborhood. Monique personally held a number of open houses. She connected with great buyers who paid a fair price. The property appraised slightly over the agreed-upon price, so we felt the we and the buyers both got a good deal. Monique spent hours on the phone with the lender and worked closely to manage deadlines, especially when the buyers needed an extension to close escrow. She kept us in the loop at all times, and was in constant contact with our entire family via text, email and phone to patiently answer questions and present the buyers requests. We are happy with the outcome on the sale of our family home and truly expect the buyers and their children will enjoy the property as much as my family did for the 60 years we owned it.

Monique gives the greatest attention to detail.
