Real estate first appealed to me as a child when I moved from Atlanta to St. Simons. Moving in the middle of the school year was hardly ideal but the transition felt natural; I was immediately captivated by the small, quaint town which I explored on my bike rides home from school. I spent my summers bicycling around the island looking at the beach cottages and homes while also searching for climbing trees. I enjoyed wandering through the shops and stopping in Clifton's, the local ice cream shop, to cool off where wall to wall tile was broken up by ice cream freezers with endless rows of flavors. A few steps away was the beach which waited in reward if I could successfully complete the daunting task of climbing over the rocks, separating land and sea, as they shifted beneath my feet.
