My wife and I just finished purchasing our first home and worked exclusively with Nate Gerard. We were so thrilled to have come across such a great professional, but more importantly Nate is a great person. Nate's extensive knowledge of the marketplace, coupled with his ability to make you feel as though you are his only client make him the perfect match for any home buyer.We first contacted Nate on a Friday night with a laundry list of houses we wanted to see on very short notice as we were from out of state. Within 24 hours, he had 8-10 showings set up for us and spent his entire Sunday afternoon showing us around the area, while sharing with us his knowledge of the market place. Nate is fantastic! He is honest, hardworking and just a delightful person. He knows the process for short sales, and everything he told me happened in the time frame he gave me. He took over the negotiations with the bank and when an appraisal came back higher than the agreed purchase price, worked with the bank to get a compromise that the buyers agreed to. Nate was an awesome in all areas! We couldn't have asked for better support and guidance and it showed in the results. In December, we listed our house and expected at least a 6 month or more wait in finding a buyer. Instead, we had two competing offers within the same weekend we listed and sold our house almost immediately. We then shifted gears and he guided us to an amazing house that exceeded all of our needs or wants -- we closed on both in January of 2010. He provided comprehensive, yet user-friendly market data, great selling tips, and a very focused, deliberate marketing strategy for how to effectively list our house. The results he delivered speak for themselves we received the first offer on our house in 4 days with a second, above-market offer that we accepted within 6 days.
