- Nathan and I connected, but did no business
The owners of a property I was considering for rent were using Dirk Van Kempema (agent) and Nathan Klutznich (broker) at "The K Company Realty, LLC" to represent their home in Weston, FL. After agreeing upon rental terms and charging me for a background check, which I passed with an A+ rating, Nathan Klutznick informed me and my broker that they had received a better offer from people willing to pay more and rent for a longer term. They asked my broker if I would increase my payment amount and length of lease. After we refused, they added language which increased the renter's liability. It is not ethical to arbitrarily change the terms of an agreement because an owner or broker receives a "better" offer after agreed upon conditions, and then deliberately induce a rejection by a potential renter. I would caution any of my friends, family or co-workers from employing Dirk Van Kempema or Nathan Klutznick or "The K Company Realty, LLC" for any realty purposes, based upon my personal experience.
