Nicholas Bobenko was great to work with. My first contact with him was to inquire about the availability of a unit that I saw browsing the internet. From that point on Nicholas was helpful in getting us set up to view that unit and several others within the same development. After we decided to make an offer, he handled all of the negotiations and helped us to make the best offer. Working with Nick was great. We liked the fact that he's a true local and knows all the in's and out's of the local real estate market. Being from PA our schedules were limited. Nick met us on three separate occasions, two of which were on a Sunday. We rolled through ten to fifteen properties each visit and at our pace. Using a national bank for our mortgage was complicated. Nick compiled a team for our closing, and without them, our deal would have fallen apart. That team knew who to call, and when to call to get all our issues resolved. We met from a home with a yard sign and phone number of Nick Bobenko, we were leaving town and called Nick, he was off that day but responded within a half hour and showed us the home. We explained to Nick what we thought we were looking for and Nick followed us up showing us a few homes in the area listed. Nicholas Bobenko....I would describe as a "Make it Happen" kind of guy. I located Nick on his website and was able to review properties at my own pace. When I had located 8-10 properties of interest I set up an appointment with Nick. From the moment I met Nick I knew I had one of the best realtors in this area. Nick had everything organized with information forms on each property. Over a 3 month period I met Nick on 3 different occasions to view properties. After looking at a few properties I knew exactly what I wanted - it just had to be found. While Nick was on vacation he send me an email with a link to a new property listing - my future condo -with EVERYTHING I had identified on my want list. Nick met me at the condo Saturday 8 a.m. after returning from his vacation the night before. Nick put together a contract and I hoped for the best. Contract negotiation proved challenging considering the owner was outside of the country with limited communication access. It took several days to finalize the contract. Nick gave me daily updates. Settlement was scheduled for 30 days. Unique insurance issues were identified near my settlement date. Nick diligently worked with the lender and insurance agents to make my settlement happen as scheduled. On a 5 star rating scale I would give Nick a 6. Along, the way, I decided to have the 3 decks replaced on my house. Nick recommended someone that I couldn't have been more pleased with. I especially liked that when closing time came, I didn't have to make a trip down Ocean City. In fact, I didn't have to go anywhere. Knowing that many Ocean City properties, and particularly some Swathmore properties are for sale for years before finally selling, I didn't expect too much, too soon.
