A little backstory, I cold called Patrick from Sacramento, CA, telling him my family and I were planning on moving to New Hampshire soon, but didnt have a set date yet, and giving him a rough idea of where we were looking that was something along the lines of no more than 45 minutes from Manchester. My husband and I had reached out to one other realtor first with the same guidelines, received a list of maybe 30 houses that were basically rebuilds and didnt meet our criteria at all, and when we responded back with likes/dislikes for EACH house to give that realtor a better idea of what we were looking for, we got no response back. Patrick was opposite. With no guarantees that we would actually move out to NH in the foreseeable future, he set up a collaboration site for us and started flooding it with houses and properties that got my husband more and more excited, and more and more motivated to get to NH. Once we arrived in NH, our process was a little slower than anticipated as we moved into a rental first, and then took some time to boost our credit scores, but through it all, Patrick remained vigilant and was always available for our numerous calls and responded quickly to our numerous emails. After finally starting our house hunt, meeting Patrick face to face, and recognizing his dry sense of humor, it became a personal goal of mine and my husbands to get him to laugh out loud (which I finally achieved on inspection day of our new house) and meeting up with Patrick to look at houses became less of a chore and more of a getting to go hang out with a buddy for a few hours. When we finally found a house that really worked for us, Patrick was quick to jump on everything required for us to make an offer and buy it, and throughout the process, he was quick to help us dig up the random bits of information wed request for different properties.
