When clients ask Pauline Sharpe about the Oak Park area, she says she can’t imagine living anywhere else. With its history, diversity and close-knit community, Oak Park is the place Pauline calls home. Pauline was born and raised in Oak Park, and she married a man whose family has lived here for almost 100 years. You could say her roots run deep! But it wasn’t until Pauline and her family spent a few years in California that she understood how special this community truly is. Despite perfect weather and beautiful scenery, California’s homes were generally much newer and lacking in character and diversity. The communities also seemed transient, with residents moving frequently for work or a change of scenery.
