Phuong Smith

I came to the United State as a refugee with my family in 1991. I was 17 years old. I spoke no English at that time. I began my education here by graduating from Aurora Central High School and continuing on to graduate from College with the degree in Accounting. While I went to school I paid for my own education. I became fluent in English and worked as a translator for an independent mortgage broker. I was encouraged to get a real estate license and passed my real estate exam in 2006. I was hired by the Sterling Real Estate Group and within few years I became one of the company's top ten producers. I loved my work with people. It was wonderful to be able to find people homes where they could be happy!
