As a kid R.D. was always looking for an opportunity. “I mowed lawns, delivered papers and had a hay hauling business at 15 years old among other things”. Along with a sense of entrepreneurism, was a passion for Christian ministry and having an impact on those around him. This led R.D. down the path of education. As a High School teacher and football and basketball coach as well as a theater coach he was able to have an affect on many. However, after 13 years in education with 4 daughters of his own, he felt it was time to fulfill that need to be in a dynamic business. R.D. started a handy-man business that morphed in being a warranty manager for a fortune 500 national homebuilder, Centex Homes.
