She is personable and soft, and yet assertive and strong when it comes to negotiating with the counterpart. She is readily available and responsive to her clients. She will try to get answers quickly. She is more than an agent. On the signing day, while going through a stack of documents, she will even push the stroller to ease your baby to sleep, while parents can focus on the paper work. Its been great working with her.

The very process is fairly complicated so its not surprising that finding the right agent, one with experience and integrity, is critical. As we have found, the right agent can mean the difference between a profitable, low-stress transaction or costly mistakes. Renee Thompkins was the perfect agent for us. We Chose Renee... Renee was able to make realistic suggestions on improvements that we should make to the house. Her ideas were practical and within our budget and the results were amazing. Instead, we went with a "friend of a friend" and the mistake cost us time and money. We found ourselves looking at houses that were either out of our price range, run down, or in very undesirable areas. In frustration, I scoured the internet looking for advertised houses, and found homes that my agent didn't even know about. The house we purchased was one that I found and insisted we see. The agent appeared to be uncertain of the many logistics of the process and the nightmare continued. In addition, he was unable, or unwilling to negotiate any issues on our behalf. If we had not have been under the time crunch, we would have walked away, and in hindsight, should have done so.
