  • Robert and I connected, but did no business

      Robert showed me a property on Siesta Key, he told me it could rent for $400 a night in season, when I went on VRBO the unit was listed at $214 in the height of season. He provided rental income and expense numbers to me but added the taxes, cleaning fees and realtor fees that don't come to me as part of gross income, then deducted the expenses from the inflated number increasing the profit by 20k a year. He also told me the unit was booked solid for 6 months, when I looked it was open more than 50% of the time he said it was booked. Then when I questioned him on that he said " it;s because the unit is now for sale" but there were a dozen other rentals with the same level of occupancy in height of season. When I questioned him about the difference in rates, he lied again and said "I told you $300 in season not $400" but again it was listed $214 at peak rates. This agent will bold face lie right to you about anything. Run don't walk away from him. The numbers he provided me would not have been possible if the condo was rented at peak price 365 day of the year. HE IS A PROFESSIONAL LIAR!!! WITH NO CONSCIENCE.
