Even though I've known Gwen for more years than I can count, she took on what I considered an impossible task. First, to get me to hold on to my memories and second to sell our family mountain home. I worked with Rob extensively over a couple of months while finding a house in the mountains and changing my mind. He has an interesting technique. He'll take you where you want to go while simultaneously interviewing you to determine what you're really looking for (e.g. view, size, area, etc.). Then he narrows your search to make it more meaningful. We started looking at a condo he listed. After discussion and visiting it with my wife, he steered us away from that property (even though it was his) because he knew it wasn't right for us. After several iterations and late night communications, we landed on our price zone and zeroed in on a house with a spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain right where we wanted to be. And we love the house. He and Gwen were always responsive and knowledgeable, providing me information on utility companies and contractors who were great and easy to work with. I will definitely use Rob again, both for a sale and a purchase. I won't waiver from my support of him and his team and am very appreciative of what they did for our family.

Extremely experienced, communicative, very patient, and honest. Rob is not your typical realtor. When he shows you properties he brings knowledge about zoning, utilities, plat map, HOA information, easements, right of ways, etc. He knows Boone, Blowing Rock, and the surrounding areas because he is a member of the community, a resident, and he genuinely invested in the area. Rob did an awesome job getting our property sold. The buyer and buyer's agent made some impossible demands but Rob was able to stay calm, deal with everything that came along and in the end close the deal.
