Ross Tanaka

Ross was born in Kailua at Castle Hospital on the island of Oahu but was mostly raised in Aiea where he played baseball and football growing up. As a child, Ross had aspirations of being a carpenter like his grandpa. He actually ended up working in the construction industry for seven years rising up the ranks quickly from apprentice to journeyman to working foreman which was the highest position that could be obtained within the company. While he was a journeyman and working foreman he ran jobs for his company, coordinated and communicated with general contractors/superintendents, coworkers, other trades, had to plan the best way to do the job, determined who would do each part of the job, problem solve, train apprentices and report back to the boss every morning.
