Russ is a tremendous agent. He did what our first agent, a well-known and top producer, said was very unlikely going to happen because of the competitive market and the price we could afford to pay. And that was to close on a great Mt. View home. And because of his sharp negotiating skills, he saved us $50k from the asking price when most sales were occurring over asking. He's patient, stays calm under pressure, and follows-through. When the bank gave us a hard time, despite the pre-approval, he intervened by twice having a face-to-face discussion with the bank's loan agent. When that didn't produce results, he acquired contact information for the bank's top management, called them, and convinced them it was imperative to immediately fund. Because Russ put in a lot of time and effort, we now have a very nice home. Would give him six stars if I could.

I recently purchased my second home with Russ. The process from start to finding the house of our dreams took about six weeks. We did not know exactly what we wanted but Russ was very patient started showing us several properties so we can narrow down the type of house and location we need. I don't know what else I can say except that the reviews I read are 100% accurate! I was a pain in the rear and Russ never once seemed annoyed. Took my phone calls and texts at any time. One particular day when I called to bug him he had a high level of excitement in his voice. Readers beware..This review goes long.last year my husband expressed his desire of upgrading the house.based on my previous experience of buying our first house I wasn't that inclined but when he pushed I started researching realtors.i shortlisted some agents and my husband finally decided to work with Russ.He reasoned that Russ speaks less and listens more but i think it was for his tesla which my husband admires a lot :)he barely took seconds to reply to messages and that too when he was on family vacation in Hawaii (I myself would never do it) . He gave us very accurate estimates of how much a property would sell for and I have cross checked his estimates with final selling price on 5 properties we had some interest in.he was always right!!!we managed to sell our house and buy the next one seamlessly which was a complete shock to me in this hard to buy market.it took us 9 months and 25 rejected offers to buy our first house and i was not expecting this transition in 3 months at all.Russ convinced and assured us that we must sell first and buy next which was not the idea we had started with.we thought if we sell first we will be under pressure to compromise on our purchase.through the process several times we tried to back off but his confidence and reasoning kept us on.he sold our house for much more than we expected with a very good duration of rent back and an added provision of cancelling the deal within a month if we dont buy.it was totally a deal in our favor and something very exceptional to do.when we got ready to buy,after dozens of open house and private visits,we liked only 2 properties to really buy and imagine in such a situation, when any other agent would have rushed us into offering on both(if we dont buy he looses commission on the selling one as well) he actually discouraged us to buy the first one as it was close to highway which was a great decision(we realized later).we were all up for buying it.we just wrote a single offer on the other property and in spite of the fact that it was a very good area with awesome schools and sole property on sale in that area at that time, with 4 co owners to convince we finally own that awesome house at a price a good way less than listing.The house has everything i and my husband wanted and we love it.Thanks to Russ!!!after the transactions were done when we went for final inspections we found some scratches in the house left by staging company.Russ very diligently followed with sellers agent to have that fixed.there was just one flip side in his services. He had suggestions for small fixes we needed but we found all his references quite expensive and found others ourselves to do it.To summarize GO FOR HIM!!!

Me and my wife(back then girlfriend) actually found Russ on Yelp at the end of 2014, we were considering buying our first home although not fully committed. Regardless of that, Russ took his time explaining to us different strategies of buying a house and took us to different open houses. Russ is the man. I thought buying a home was going to be a nightmare, with Russ is was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment I clicked his listing on Zillow, he was prompt, called me within 5 minutes, he asked me a few questions to get an idea of where I was in my process and to get an idea of what I was looking for. I was just exploring the idea of buying a house, but 1 month later I was moving into my dream house.First off, Russ is just a great guy. We clicked really well, he listened to what I was looking for, got to know me personally, and drove me around to 12 places our first meeting in his Tesla Model S (I work there so that was icing on the cake!). He helped me self discover what I really wanted, then helped me go after it. He was always available by phone, text and email, even late at night. I put in 2 offers initially and he helped guide me every step of the way, not pressuring me, getting me out of the bidding war that the other Realtor was trying to play.3rd time was the charm. I saw a listing go up on a Thursday at 11am on Redfin. I texted it to Russ, he immediately asked if I'd like him to pick him up to check it out at lunch. I couldn't get away from but I told him I wanted it. So, he tells me he's going to drive over there right now, take a video of the place and send it to me, and If I like it we can take it from there. Soon after a competing bid came in $30K above mine but the way Russ positioned my offer, it was more attractive to the seller. Time to celebrate - He took me out to my favorite karaoke bar when I got the keys and I made a new friend!
