My husband and I sold a home in Vermont and purchased a home in Bridgton, Maine. This brought on many challenges, and stress, as this transition often does for people, and we can honestly say without Russ Sweet as our Realtor, we don't know how we could have handled it. Russ gives new meaning to going above and beyond. He is without a doubt the realtor you want on your side when you buy or sell your home. He made it personal for us, as we felt on many occasions he really went to bat for us making sure we were treated fairly. He is very patient and gave us this real calm that we were often in need of. He returned calls, emails, and texts while on vacation, and always made us feel as if we were his only client. He doesn't sleep much....he reached out to us when needed sometimes at night, or on a weekend, and NEVER made us feel we were a bother. (And we were often a bother!!) I was purchasing a place while living abroad, and he was not only able to find a place that really exactly met our specifications, but he made it really easy to understand what the key decision points should be (including around things like septic tanks and lake quality) which I had no clue about. It was quite an education for me and Russ made it easy! What a relief to feel like we had such a trustworthy and knowledgeable guide as we made these huge real estate decisions.
