Russell Cole

Russ is a North Carolina native that has enjoyed Carolina’s best from the mountains to the sea. Russ grew up in Asheville and graduated from Appalachian State in Boone, with a double major in Finance and Marketing. Since graduation, Russ has lived in Greensboro, Winston-Salem and for the last 10 years in Chapel Hill. Russ enjoys acting as a NC Ambassador, sharing his favorite Carolina’s best, golf courses, ski slopes, hiking trails, and restaurants. Russ is married to his childhood sweetheart Ellen (Director at Binkley Baptist Preschool), and has two children Janie, who graduated from Salem College in 2013, and Ben who is a sophomore at the University of South Carolina. Russ and Ellen have always enjoyed buying and renovating older homes, doing much of the work themselves, building “sweat equity” with each sale.
