Crooked! He kept my security deposit for an imaginary pet he claimed I had. Ironic that the penalty was for the exact amount of the security deposit. It wasn't until after doing business with him that I found out he works for his daddy who pays for everything towards his extravagant lifestyle. He's lazy, always "out of town", and very unprofessional. Beware of this man. He's a thief.

My experience with Ryan Slate was terrible. He is extremely unreliable and untrustworthy. I strong urge anyone to seek out a different realtor.

WOW is all I can say about Ryan Slate.. I am sure when he first met us, he was thinking this is never going to happen. A couple looking for a house in Tampa from LA yeah right.. Well he stuck with us to the point where he video toured 7 homes for us - posted them on line and did a narrative of pro's con's etc.. all based on our discussions.. When we found the one we liked he worked overtime to make the sale happen and ensure that our best interests were met in the deal and process. I can't find enough praise to say for his professional Ethics, Attention to Customer needs and satisfaction and then going the 150% to close the deal. We found and closed on a home without even seeing it, that is how much we trusted Ryan. I would recommend anyone wanted to Sell or Buy in the Tamp area to pick up the phone and call him.. He does the extra to make the process incredible.. We love our new home and we love our Agent Ryan (he is like family now).. Thank you Ryan for all you did for us.. Phil and Jules

Ryan helped us sell our house in South Tampa this past fall. He was invaluable. Even though it was a very desirable house, it still took a lot of work to get it ready and he was always there for us with knowledge and experience and advice on what needed to be done, contact information for workers, timelines and requirements and inspection details etc. He always had a patient ear and was ready to step in a few times when needed it. Always friendly, and extremely competent and professional. We can't recommend him highly enough!

We used Ryan Slate to sell our home this last summer and he was outstanding. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Ryan Slate at Pineywoods Realty stood out as the best Tampa has to offer: their organic rankings are excellent (meaning people find listings on his site easily),and I could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We spoke with Ryan and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house, which was located pretty far from downtown and in a neighborhood with hundreds of similar homes would be tough to sell. Ryan made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like give us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. I've recommended Ryan Slate to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.

If you are looking to buy a real estate property, Ryan is the person to contact. I was a first-time home buyer at a new environment, moving from overseas, and was able to find Ryan on Yelp, which was the best choice I've ever made. He was aware that it was my first time; thus, always provided extra details/recommendations and often gave explanations using easy examples, which helped me get a better understanding. His responsiveness is second to none. Regardless of the time I contacted him, he was always prompt in response. He also understood what I needed and provided additional information to my inquires. For example, I've once asked about the property tax and HOA fees for one of the properties to get an idea about the monthly expenses, and not only he came back with the tax expenses and fees, but also the average monthly utility expenses and other miscellaneous expenses based on the previous owner's experience. Not only I am strongly confident that I was able to get the best deal with Ryan’s assistance, but also the overall impeccable service made the process very exciting and enjoyable.

Best real estate agent for investors in Tampa. Experience is key and he has been in the investment game longer than anyone I know in the are. I strongly advise you to find out how long your realtor has been in business. Go with someone with 20+ year experience. There are far to many service industry people that pick up real estate as a second job and don’t know squat.
