My wife and I contacted Sabine Rolnick and 2 other realtors to meet to discuss the sale of Jeans' home in Park Ridge, IL. My wife and I were coordinating the sale of the home for Jean, who was soon to move to a memory care unit at a local facility. We are impressed by all of the realtors we interviewed, but Sabine stood out for two main reasons. First, she seemed to take an instant and sincere interest in Jean. Jean and Sabine seemed to hit it off and they had a very cordial conversation. Also, my wife and I were impressed with the energy and positive attitude of Sabine. She gave us many details on how she would market the house. In the end it was an easy decision to ask Sabine to list the property.It did not take long for offers to come in. To our amazement, the third offer was $5,000 more than the asking price. I think that Sabine encouraged the party making the third offer to give a max offer because of the considerable interest in the house and the situation of the owner. My wife and I were in Spain at the time of the offer, which we accepted, and Sabine was able to complete the sale electronically. By the time we returned home to Minnesota, most of the details had been worked out.Sabine demonstrated continued diligence to as we approached the final closing of the sale. My wife and I found that there were still a few challenges ahead, but with Sabine at our side, everything went very well. It was not long before we had the money to deposit into Jean's savings account.My wife and I concur on giving Sabine a rating of 5 stars out of 5. She was superb and we would recommend to others without hesitation.
