Scott graduated from Murray State in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry. He worked as a chemist at LaFarge for 4 years, then as an Oversight Specialist at Honeywell for 7 years. He has been a business owner since 1997, when he purchased Subway/Steak Out Franchises. Scott has been in real estate since 1992 and was the broker/owner of Farmer & Company Real Estate from 2002 - 2014. Scott has earned the CCIM, CRS, GRI, ABR, MRP, CSC designations, and was awarded the Life Ruby Award for Outstanding Sales Performance from the Egyptian Board of Realtors.
