THE WORST AGENT I"VE EVER DEALT WITH!!! Sergei Holmquist represented both me and the buyer on a recent transaction in Forks. An offer was made, accepted and we were under contract. Four days later, after I paid for the inspection, I get a call from Sergei, pressuring me to back out because the seller decided she wanted her daughter to have the property. He assured me it was NOT because a higher offer came in. I was devastated, and did not want to back out. Although Sergei did not threaten me, I became intimidated and feared for my safety on that 17 acre property. I put an ENORMOUS amount of effort into acquiring the property, including driving from the CA border the very next morning after viewing it online. I immediately put in the earnest money, had the inspection done etc, etc. Now I am being told to back out. I am a single, middle aged woman with no one looking out for me. How could I not feel threatened? But, it gets even worse...I then contacted the owner after agreeing to back out. She told me that her daughter decided not to buy it, and then told me the property was mine. The next day, I had oral surgery because of major dental needs, and was groggy the entire day. Sergei told me to wait a day to re-submit the offer that she promised she would accept. I have email documentation stating this. Lo and behold, the next morning Sergei called to tell me that again, I DID NOT HAVE THE HOUSE, and that a higher offer was accepted!! I am utterly devastated, and will make sure people know how this agent did NOT advocate for me. What frickin' agent tells you to back out of the place of your dreams, once you're legally under contract. The worst part? This guy had ZERO compassion for the anguish this caused for me. Could not care less. I'm still in shock from this experience
