Shane Yarbrough

In my 48 years of living in the DFW metroplex, I have witnessed the growth of Dallas and the surrounding suburbs. Growing up in Carrollton, I attended Jesuit College Prep School in Dallas and the University of North Texas in Denton. I've seen farms and fields that have turned into communities, and dirt roads turned into major highways. I have lived in Denton County for the past 17 years, with my wonderful wife, Sarrah, and our puppies. We were fortunate to built a new, custom home in Little Elm 5 years ago, in a growing close-knit community where I have served for 4 years as Treasurer on the board of the property owners association. I also continue to pursue my passion with music by writing and recording both original and cover tunes as well as performing live. I play for Camp John Marc for several Sundays each summer, kicking off each week's camp with songs that the kids know and sing along and dance to!
