As everyone knows, Covid has changed our way of life. It's a tough time to sell and buy a house. I would definitely recommend Shannon. As do a lot of people we had to sell our home in order to buy and I interviewed a few prospective agents. Some gave me the impression that they didn't want to 'waste' time showing us homes until we had a contract on our sale (which may have resulted in us needing to find a temporary residence and move twice with 2 kids under 2!). Shannon is a very professional and responsible realtor, and we feel very lucky to have her for our house sale. Our case is a quite unconventional and difficult one. We had moved to California a few years ago, and when we decided to put our house on the market in April, it was still rented out. Shannon had done a good job coordinating with our tenants to get the house ready for showings. After we accepted the offer, she kept in close contact with the buyers' agent and gave us updates on the status of their mortgage application. However, on our scheduled closing day, the bank found that they had made a mistake so the deal couldn't be closed. What a mess! As you can imagine, it was really frustrating for all of us! Shannon went above and beyond after selling us our home in Poughkeepsie, NY. We live in Arizona and are in the process of moving. However, during this process, one of the biggest blizzards of the year occurred in the area of our new home. Because no one is living there yet, there was a concern that the pipes could freeze. Shannon helped us think of ways to rectify the situation to avoid this happening. And in the end, she personally contacted a locksmith herself to help us get our home opened and serviced by a heating company. Shannon also took it upon herself to give us recommendations for general contractors and painters, local restaurants and tourist attractions.
