Sharon Gidley

Sharon Gidley grew-up in northeast Iowa with 16 brothers and sisters. This Iowa farm girl had aspirations of becoming a music teacher. Sharon played the trumpet and was involved in the music program at her alma mater the University of Iowa. After graduation, she secured a teaching position at a school in Deerfield, Illinois where she was the band director for six years. Though she loved music, Sharon found herself drawn to sales. Her outgoing nature and excellent people skills propelled her to one of the top sales representatives for a promotional fundraising company for schools. She worked at this career for 10 years and then in 1994 decided to make a career change to the world of real estate.
