Working in the tourism and resort industry lead him and his wife Sarah to many ski towns chasing there passion of skiing and enjoying the great outdoors. Naturally, growing up in this area, his love of the outdoors runs deep. There spontaneous and adventurous mentality has lead them to travel the world, skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing.Before settling down in the Durango area Shawn Ray and his Wife moved to Uganda in East Africa as missionaries serving orphans and widows. He ran a street program that feeds and educates street children as well as helped orphanages in the bush with self sustainability projects.
