About me... I was born with an entrepreneurial spirit. I opened my first retail business in 1994 at the age of 24. That was the beginning of my 18 year tenure at the Riverwalk Marketplace in downtown New Orleans. I have operated out of 13 separate locations within the mall constantly growing and expanding my various businesses. This has given me a broad perspective regarding what products did or did not sell based on the different demographics of the various locations. I’ve owned various businesses including a New Orleans themed music shop with gifts, a gallery featuring Louisiana artists, a cajun grocery with local gifts and a New Orleans style cooking school with a culinary boutique. While owning and operating these various businesses, I performed all of the associated duties.
